Pet Therapy is our most popular patient and family request. If you have a fully certified Pet Therapy dog and you would like to share the love with our patients and families in an inpatient and homecare setting, please contact Joan Cullen, Director of Volunteers at 203-315-7510 for more details.

Connecticut Hospice Homecare Volunteers have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients who have terminal illnesses. The type of homecare visits are as follows:Respite: Sit with patient while caregiver runs errands, has doctor appointments, etc. This will be in a private home.Enrichment: Many patients are very lonely and would like to talk, play cards, have a book or newspaper read to them, etc. They may be in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living or private home.
